1999 Model Class A, put it on Craig's list and it took me almost a month but I found it a home. It was in bad shape, roof had a bad leak from just behind the nose cap almost all the way to the living room. The ceiling was buckled, water dripping on the dash, soft spot in the floor, mold on the cabinets, yeah it was bad. I made it perfectly clear what was wrong with it and the new buyer wanted it anyway, so I let him have it. To be honest with you, I was going to give it one more week and then part out the good stuff and sell the rest for scrap. I wouldn't have paid 10 dollars for the whole thing, but he wanted it...I still cant wrap my head around it. Anyway, to all you folks out there who say check for delam, look for soft spots, check the roof, don't by a junker....HA! I sold it!!!I am so happy to have it out of my yard, and he is happy to have a project so I guess we both win!

Hi,99 is not OLD! I bought mine new in November of 1996, it is a 97 model. . . Yes I did have to recoat the roof back in 20010 and again a couple of years ago. But it is still sealed, and looks 'decent' inside. I guess it does have some problems, I probably will have to replace the hot water heater tank, new tires before a major trip, and other maintenance things, like batteries. I guess that the frame and drivetrain where worth something!Tow happiest days in a boat owners life are the day they bought it, and the day they sold it!Good luck!Fred.

BTW, if it's by chance a spin off on Breaking Bad, you might want to check with the DMV to make sure it's not still in your name. Nothing worst then having the DEA impounding things. :E

congratulations and good for you! hoping we can do the same shortly as i've finally found an apt we hope to get into july 2nd. once having vacated the rig, will clean it up and put on consignment. at this point i just want it sold! maybe pay for the bills it wracked up in repairs last year!

Engine and trans and generator are worth something. Maybe not $2500, but if it was to him, then great!

As a matter of fact he did. 25 of them! He said he would gut it and put a new roof on it and remodel the inside. I hope he does, I would love to see it all fixed up and new looking again.
All I know for certain is he is NOT a member of RV.Net and he did not do any research because by the time you guys would have got done with him I would have had to give it away. (Which I was almost at the point of doing just to have it out of the yard!)
Sad part is, everything else on the coach was fine. The Drive-train was good, it ran like a top. Generator worked fine, even the dash air worked! All the other stuff worked great.

Maybe he wanted it for a hunting camp or even a camp on a remote piece of land. With some roof work or even a car port he could have a nice little hunting lodge for cheap money.

There are enough tired old rigs out there that I've often considered doing a flip business. If I had a big garage and a TV show on HGTV, I'd do it.

My first MH was a 1978 28ft Georgie Boy that was given to me if I could get it out of their yard. Sounds about like the same shape yours was in. DW cleaned the inside and re-upholstered cushions. We used it for 4 years and had a blast. Never did replace the roof but did a lot of patching. Never did get all the leaks out.
We were a lot younger and more ambitious then
