Sold the old motorhome
I sold my old motorhome. It treated me really good. Never broke down in any manner that required a tow of left us stranded. One blow out on the interstate but, there was a tire store at the top of the off ramp so, lucky I guess. Lots of great trips.
The buyer intends to go full time. The tires are still good for another three years before they need to consider a change. The chassis was maintained better than anyone's that I personally know of. The roof was just re-coated. It was nicer than when we bought it and everything works. In fact, the generator was hard to start when I bought it. Starts first time you touch the button now. And, they got a sweet deal for sure.
We decided that a travel trailer would better suit our needs so, that's the way we're going. Probably going to just store it in Myrtle Beach SC since most of our trips end up there anyway. Once or twice a year we'll go grab it and take it some place else for a few days, then back to Myrtle. It's 3+ hours from our house so, seems like a good plan.
If our life radically changes we might get another motorhome. The future is never certain.
