Some stuff I've added

These are some things I have added to my 2004 R-Vision Trail Lite Gasser MH over the last few years of owning it. Thought some of you, especially those that know how minimally-appointed these smaller class A's are from the factory, might appreciate this.

The added items are;

Replace front tube TV with flat screen and entertainment center w/storage. Added Nintendo WII game console, DVD player, and sound bar. I also added plenty of easy to access 12v power, USB, and 120v power recepts here on both sides also.

New, larger microwave. Had to get creative with the fit.

Added back bedroom wall cabs/entertainment center, flat screen, Play Station game console (also plays our DVD's), storage, external speaker, recessed down lighting and dimmer. I also made the bed suit the next larger size available mattress and reworked bed lift mechanisms, and relocated water tank and pump to allow more under bed storage.

Outside I added all LED lights and halo headlights.

And my personal favorite... outside entertainment center. New compartment door, TV w/DVD built-in mounted on custom altered HD arm, custom latching for when stored. Modern outside radio and speakers, plays CD's, MP3's, etc. This feature immediately made our little motorhome feel much larger when traveling... brought the inside and outside together as one.

Anyway, I am fortunate in that I do my own work and also work on friends motorhomes here at my rather large and professionally outfitted home shop. However, none of these things cost that much to do whether self-procured or hired out when compared to the cost of buying another motorhome to get what I wanted. My cell phone pictures are very poor but I hope this inspires someone to renovate and recycle their existing unit into the coach they really want rather than going into deeper debt for a newer or larger one.
