Steer Safe

Just posted a couple questions on my 05 Fleetwood and forgot to add that I just recently had the steer safe installed in Deming NM. My couch drove fine before but this is a very fine product that improved it even more. Don't know how to say it but it just goes where its pointed. Much more of a relaxed drive. Would spent the money again.
  • Of course when you have extreme conditions or a failure in a tire then it can be a really nice add on. Most of our coaches are pretty good under very normal conditions. If I drove in the south all the time I doubt I would need many mods as generally roads are very good. California roads are more like WI with terrible bumps and irregularities and most any suspension change just gets things to I can handle it without everything falling apart.

I had steer safe on the MH when I bought it 11 years ago. I drove the MH with one hand and always believed it was because of the steer safe add on. This summer I had a front end failure including the steer safe. After the front end was repaired I drove home without it and did not notice any difference in handling. I think if your front end has some alignment problems, weight imbalances,or worn parts it can help. But my experience says if the front end set up and weight is correct I saw no difference.
  • Handling is much better with Steer Safe. Great company with fantastic customer support.
  • I put Steer Safe on 3 different motor homes over the years. Big improvement on all 3.
