Steer tires for front wheels - Are they as good in snow

I want to install new front tires on my MH. The shop say it will ride better with steer type tires, straight groove. I just wonder how they would ride in light snow. This winter I drove a couple days in light snow and had no problem with the Goodyear G169, these where at all position on the RV.

    Agree, steer tires are fine on all wheel positions on an DP unless you are in DEEP snow.

    That 18,000 plus pounds on the rear/drive axle WILL keep you going.

    I would keep the g169 unless you plan to do heavy snow traveling.
    Me I can layover a day to avoid snow
