Steering Stabilizer on a 1989 P30 Bounder Class A

Thanks guys for your responses' I really do appreciate them. I read the manual on the P Chassis for motorhomes. Not much on aftermarket steering stabilizers. Good manual though. I'm not sure if I need to remove the existing steering dampner on the passenger side. It is at least 1/2 the size of the Safe T Plus steering stabilizer. I'm hoping after I do install it that steering is not to stiff to handle.

I replaced the original equipment steering stabilizer with a direct replacement. It made a big difference.
To answer your question directly, you would remove the factory unit if you install Sate T Plus unit.
On your other thread, you were advised about bell cranks. Bell cranks and upper control arm bushings need to be checked. This should be done by a shop that knows their way around light and heavy duty trucks and not automobiles.
