I have seen the after effects of not having a surgeguard in a campground, oh wow! If you just bought it, and that is a very valuable asset, go the extra mile and get that 50amp, the pennies you save now, could be trouble later on. Enjoy your new home and safe travels.

if that's what you have, it will work fine. Just plug your 50A pigtail into it, and then you 50A rig plug into that. You will be limited to 30A, but's that's better than going unprotected.

And while you are shopping, look at the permanently mounted Surge protector, Same price or cheaper. You do not have to handle it every time or worry about theft.

Upgrade store is 2 dollars less than CW on an item over $300. That's pretty competitive pricing.

I would recommend this place for parts as I don't do CW. As previously stated, do it right the first time instead of the half-.ss approach and it will work every time.:C

You will also need to have a dogbone adapter on hand for those few times that 30a only service might be available for your 50a rig.

I would buy the correct tool for the job the 1st time. I haven't priced them in a while but the difference in price isn't that much.
