DennisRFreitas: I fought that battle and here is what I learned. First, you have to e sure the coax wired in your RV is the same grade as the coax used to connect the Sat dish. Probably is but check to e se sure. RG60 won't work. Next, the line inside your RV must be a direct line to the Sat receiver. No switchboxes or splitters in that line. Connect the line from the Tailgater to the RV. You should be able to observe your receiver searching and downloading the programming. Mine was complicated and
I had to create a loop-back and use a continuity meter to test and sort out wher the "other end" of several cables were. LABEL BOTH ENDS CLEARLY! That was a painstaking process but once done, I was able get my Sat TV viewing work.
The signal out of the sat receiver can go direct to a digital tv OR it can then go to/through a switchbox. But you can not redirect the raw feed to the receiver.
