We have the Oasis system in our coach. It heats while driving, off of diesel and has two electric elements (30/50 amp). On mine, the upgrade to engine block heating is an additional switch and a pump. The connections, both wiring and plumbing, are already there. You might check to see if the AquaHot is upgradable.
With that said, these systems heat water so fast, you won't be waiting long for hot water, especially if you turn it on when you first stop. One of the guys on the Newmar forum just added the pump and switch to do engine preheat, but he lives back east. I think it's a nice feature, but out west, not necessary for us. The couple of times it got cold while on a trip, I just turn the block heater on the night before.
