Tires, lol

Well I sold my last MOTORHOME a couple years ago and about to buy another one. This one has newer Yokohama ry103 tires on the rear. I need to replace the fronts ASAP. After looking online the ry103 looks to be a little light weight I think for me as I pull a fairly heavy car trailer as well....

Which tire would y’all recommend? I’m interested in no blowouts more then I am ride...
  • We have Toyo's on our motorhome - load range H for the weight which is actually a couple thousand pounds more than needed. We are very happy with them. 7 years old now so will be replacing because of age, but they still look like new tires and have plenty of tread.

No one can answer that question. The weight of your RV and the loads you plan will make the decision for you. There really aren't any "don't buy this tire" out there so as long as you keep the same brand of tire with the same load rating on each axle, the brand could be different on each axle.
I like Firestone (owned by Michelin) as well as Michelin and Goodyear. Others have had success with nearly every brand out there including the Chinese brands.

I like Firestone too but they are actually owned by Bridgestone which is good since I don't like Michelin

    wikipedia Firestone

    Bridgestone/Firestone also makes Fuzion
