Hello all! Im having problems with a credit union getting financing because the loan officer isn't grasping the Vin # is the Workhorse Chassis and is used for the final build. They can't find information about the rig - its a 2003 R-Vision Stratus. They said they cant finance it because he title says 2002 workhorse and the vin comes up as a P32 incomplete motor home chassis. Cheers
The TITLE year has NOTHING to do with Chassis Year VIN. Have the Loan Officer call a local RV motorhome dealership and ask for the Business or Title clerk. They will explain HOW this is done in your state. You can have a 2019 Ford Motorhome chassis and the Motorhome box is built in 2022 and the Title(also the MSO) will be a 2022. Doug
Or in your case a 2003 on a 2002 chassis . NEW vehicles do NOT come with a Title from the manufacturer. Titles are a State function They come with a MSO Manufacturers Statement of Origin. You(Dealer) takes the MSO to the Tax office and then a Title is issued from the MSO
