Tractor trailer hit my C; to fix or not?

While heading to fish at the beach, a tractor trailer wasn't paying attention and swiped the rear right corner tearing off the ladder/bumper and caving in the bottom corner. Cracked the fiberglass along the seam. Insurance is having estimator inspect and IF he wants to pull the side all the way down to re-install the rear/right side wall, not sure I want them doing all this. Worried that they will have to remove cabinetry/frig/etc. which could cause a lot of squeaks! Has anyone else had this type of repairs and if so, regrets? My brother and I were thinking of fixing the bottom ourselves and installing new bumper/ladder and use eternalbond tape down the seam. We used this on the roof seam years ago and that is some tough stuff. PS: I use my camper on the beach mostly (4x4) and its 28' long....don't need anymore rattles when bouncing along the ocean! Tried to upload photo but cannot figure out this system :((

Because it's a 4x4 have the insurance total it with the option of buying it back at less than the difference in the before value and the cost to repair. Do not give up your title so you do not end up with a Salvage title. Repair it yourself and do not worry if it does not look 100%.

    My take too.
