I forgot to mention that i increased the tow capacity to 7000 lbs by adding additional supports to the frame. I went to an Adams Distributor, who was adding the brake controller, they explained that they could give me the additional support this way. I am more concerned now with this Trailer Valet and whether anyone has used one. But back to the additional support issue, since all my responders (and i thank you for the responses) knew my tow capacity, do I need to be concerned at a weigh station?
Sorry to say this is simply not possible. It's not a support issue. The GCWR has not changed. Good luck!
His GCWR is 22,000 pounds, from the factory. That leaves a minimum of 7500 pounds towing capacity, or possibly more if he is not running at full GVWR. The upper limit for the E450 chassis is 10,000 pounds.
Back to the original topic..... That is an interesting concept. I have never seen one, but the video looks promising. Do you plan on moving the trailer around with it? Or just using it to aid with hitching up? For hitching up, you might be able to get by with just a backup camera above the hitch ball.
