Transmission Trouble

I have a 92 Lazy Daze with a 454 engine and a 4L80 transmission
and when I took it for a drive last week, the transmission would
not shift out of low gear.
I took it to a transmission shop and they checked it and said the transmission is ok and that this is an electrical problem.
Has anybody ever had this problem with a 4L80? Its seems like shops that do electrical troubles shooting are few and far between.
Would appreciate any help.

    Many transmissions have solenoids and electrical components. If a transmission shop can not diagnosis the electrical part run away fast.

    have you checked the fuse for the transmission?
    It is hot in run position which could also mean an ignition switch issue.
