Traveling without a TOAD

I don't travel without a toad, but as a suggestion, I bought two Motiv electric bikes a few months ago. It's amazing how far the technology has come with the electric bike and the range is amazing on them. I had them in San Francisco this weekend and although we didn't go on the steepest of hills, we did go from the Ocean all the way up into the Haight-Ashbury area and all over Golden Gate Park and still had plenty of battery power left when we got back. If I didn't have a toad, I'd just get a bike carrier and take these bikes along and anything with a 10 to 15 mile radius of your camp site is easily reachable.
