Triangle Storage Cabinet in bathroom

We just purchased an Itasca Spirit 25B. It has a triangle-shaped cabinet in the bathroom over the toilet. What do other people use to keep items from falling out when you open the cabinet door? My husband doesn't want to put screws in it (he's concerned the wood isn't strong enough). We appreciate your help.
  • Command hooks allow for some small plastic trays to fit along the walls of the cabinets. Command hooks and velcro works much better than screws anytime.
  • We use little organizing trays but frankly we just haven't found an efficient storage method. The cabinet looks a lot bigger than it really is!
  • We often buy pre-chopped salads in plastic containers, sometimes strawberries too. Those type of see through plastic tubs fit in various configurations and work perfectly for in the medicine cabinet. Tall things stick out the top and you don't need see through for them.
  • We went to Home Depot or Lowes, and bought small round plastic paint buckets, that don't have handles. They fit perfectly, and we store our tooth paste, tooth brushes, and lots of other things in them. It still leaves a little room on each side of the bucket for larger items to stand up....like cans of deodorant, bottles of mouthwash, etc. In the top, space we have 2 small, stacking 4 drawer containers. They hold lots of little things. Pill bottles, chap stick, nail clipper/files, Q-tips, extra razors, etc.
Be sure to measure the depth of the space before you go shop for something that fits. If you have any type of 'container or organizer' store in your area, they always have lots of helpful small storage space items.
  • I have the same cabinet in my 31K. Hardly ever does anything fall out of mine after driving. I do try to remember to close the toilet lid, just in case, before opening the cabinet door. :D
  • patchespal56 ~~ We keep the same things hanging on the towel bar that is directly over the toilet. NOTHING
  • make some wood strips to go across the front of the shelves to hold stuff in, they glue them in with gorilla glue. Our cabinets are not tri shaped, so we use spring loaded cafe curtain rod of adjustable lengths.
  • You can cut a hard but bendable plastic strip to use as a front barrier and just bend it into place on each of the shelves.
