Upgrade Mattress

We had the optional Serta pillow top "Euro" and it was horrible. I wouldn't be surprised if Forest River changed specs on this because I can't imagine anyone being happy with the mattress we had. The Aveno foam mattress from CW is fantastic.

They may have the standard one. I tried both when I was shopping for sunseekers and there is (at least to me anyway) a huge difference between the standard and optional sunseeker mattress.

I did the same thing. The salesman knew exactly what I wanted (short queen) and even specified that the bottom side be built with 1x4s on the inside bottom edges, with hinges where the under bed storage space opened up so that I didn't have to lift the entire bed to get to the space. As good as any mattress I've ever owned and no more expensive. They only operate in 9 states, though.

We have the OEM corner bed and a memory foam topper absolutely transformed it.

I am absolutely a memory topper fan.

Can the topper be cut down to fit the RV queen bed?

Our bedroom slide closes with no room against the mattress so we'd need to cut it or roll it up to close the slide.

I installed a Memory Foam topper on mine, what a difference, now when I lay down on my bed, I'm usually asleep in a few minutes.

On our current trailer, (popup) the mattresses are only "maybe" 4 inches thick? We got a 4 inch memory foam topper, and sleep like babies! When we get the class c I have no doubt.that there will be a topper on the mattress

Consider memory foam topper - inexpensive solution to std cheapo uncomfortable RV bed - many purchase from overstock.com. Memory foam is easy to cut to size - just make sure you let it air out for a few days before installing in RV.
