We are buying a new class A and have the option of a combo washer/dryer or separate pieces. Would love to hear recommendations.
Personal preference was to have more space for other things - thus a Single unit that does it all- there are only two of us so this has never been an issue as to functionality. I have actually considered adding one to our house but ......... When we had our coach built we had a long list of things we wanted/needed and the Full Size shower and the King bed and storage, were much more important that a separate washer dryer. One more added benefit is it can rock you to sleep at night.
JMHO, - Bill_SatelliteExplorer IICorrect. Done correctly, the clothes don't wrinkle.
- rvis2005ExplorerAbsolutely appreciate having washer and dryer in our coach. We have the combo and would rather separate next time. Tommy

- DufusExplorerWe have the combo. This allows hanging clothes above it. Follow the instructions and clothes won't wrinkle. Wife removes them and gives a shake before going into the dry cycle. Don't overload it.
- sdianel_-acct_cExplorerWe have the combo and don't use it because the clothes wrinkle badly and you can't wash one and dry the other at the same time. If I had my choice I would have the stackable pair.
- Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIWe have had the Spendide vented combo in our coach since '99 and it works great. We travel full time and work full time so the unit is a big time saver for us. We don't want to waste our free time at a laundromat so the laundry can be done mornings or evenings when we are just hanging out at home. If we had the room (and a bigger coach) we would put in a stacked but that takes a lot of space. However, I don't believe the wash/dry results would be any better, it could just get finished in less time.
- cKarlGoExplorerHaving had both, I would recommend the combo unit. You can never forget a load of wet laundry and you get back a ton of storage space by eliminating one appliance.
- ValkyriebushExplorer III wouldn't even consider an RV with out a w/d. Looking for and sitting in a Laundry mat is a waste of time and money. You'll be glad to have it.
