Washer Dryer ??

We use the balls, both types, in our home dryer. They seem to work, But OH, are they ever NOISY!!!
If you use them in a Splendide, I think maybe 4 to 6 of them would be about right.
When we were using a Splendide, we found that being very careful about the amount of clothes put in it was the best way to control wrinkles. We would wash one suit of clothes (socks, underwear, pants, shirt) at a time. The only time we worried about mixing whites and coloreds was when we had new jeans. After they were washed a couple times, everything got thrown in together.

We just installed a Splendide 2100XC last week and still ironing out the kinks. We have tried fabric softener to reduce wrinkles and we know about using lower dryer setting and removing items to finish drying. But I am reading that the dryer balls can be useful. Would like some feedback on if they work and, if so, which kind - the smooth ones like a tennis ball or the ones that have "spikes" and look like a dog toy?

OK, now you have heard of one more. We spent nearly three years full timing in a fifth wheel that had a Splendide installed, the vented model.
We thought it was the greatest thing since pockets in trousers! We found that one suit of clothes made a perfect load. Shirt, pants, socks, underwear. Turn it on and forget it. No spending the day sitting in a laundromat waiting for machines to get done, just go about the day, doing whatever we wanted.
It was GREAT!

We must be different love ours no problems. Always hated the washeteria thing never again. Small loads 2-3 times a week works great. We always stay or volunteer at state parks that have washer dryers but we still use our own.

We gave away our practically new 2000 (10 lb load) and replaced it with the 2100 (12 pound load). The 20% increase in capacity and other features is well worth it.

Thanks for the replies. I had already decided on a vented model. After the replies on here and a little research, I think I'll elect for the 2100 model. Thanks

Yes, apparently vented works a lot better.

We traveled for 6 yrs. in 2 different MH's and loved or WD. Get a vented one as I have heard they dry much better than the non-vented.
