water pressure

have a 2005 pace arrow 37a and the water pressure from either faucet or shower is very poor. Why ?
  • I've had some unusably bad city water hookups-pressure drops to almost nothing at times. If everything seems to be OK, don't rule out that possibility. Don't hesitate to use tank water in this situation.

Also if you're using a pressure regulator, try to find one set at about 55 PSI. Some water filters are extremely restrictive and are more for drinking taps than for showering.
  • If it's connected to city supply, pull the inlet where the water hose is connected. There is/should be a check valve (stops water from coach from backing into the city supply) here. It could be limiting water from entering coach.

If it's not connected to city supply (pump running), the pump could be bad or another check valve (at the pump).

    Happy Travels,
    Lew
  • Had similar problem with my old Southwind, simply replaced the main line water filter and the water pressure returned to normal.
  • I had same issues. cleaned every filter I could find and still no pressure. guess I will follow this post to see if I missed something.
  • On city water or using pump?

    Have you checked:
City water connection.....plugged screen/washer at connection?

    Water pump inlet strainer clogged?

Faucet aerators......shower head for build up?

    Plugged whole house water filter?
