How to screw up a perfectly good day.
Enjoying the last of some very enjoyable fall weather, bright sunshine, high 60's temperature, I decided it was a good time to dump my tanks since we used the coach a few days over the Thanksgiving weekend.
Parked the rig next to my dump station outside the garage. Hooked up a water hose to add water to the Black tank since I knew it could not have much in it. Hooked up the coach end of the drain hose but the sewer end was left in my storage box. With water flowing into the black tank, I ambled inside the rig to check the level meters. Indicated full. Checked the stool and found it full and just about to overflow.
Ran outside and pulled the handle on the black tank dump, then recognized I hadn't plugged in the sewer end. Spent the next couple of hours cleaning up about a gallon of overfull in the bathroom, my storage box, my wet/dry vacuum and cussing myself out for stupidity.
