Removed the Wingard antenna-- we went with a King Control 2200 that is satellite PLUS off-air antenna.
Before junking the old crank up antenna, I did a test. In our metal storage building, did a channel seek. The King came up with 4 more channels than did the crank up antenna.
SO, removed the antenna, made wood plugs to fill the large holes. Then West System Epoxied the holes.
Weather permitting, tomorrow will sand and paint that part of the roof (fiberglass). The antenna was one of the few things that, under certain side-wind conditions rattled on our coach.
