Painful & costly but the converter finally died and had to replace it. While we were at it, I found a nice 1500 Xantrex inverter/charger with remote panel for under $300 on Craigslist and installed that as well. This is my 1st sneaky step towards getting the DW more receptive a little boondocking :)
