We boondock a lot. Much of our camping is in the Southern California desert. The days are short during the winter so I wanted to create some more light outside. Light that didn’t have to be set up each trip, low electric drain, lost of light when I needed it and dimmed to a soft glow when by the campfire.
I did it! Its ~25 feet of waterproof led strip lights with an RF remote control.
It turned out much better than expected. I can now BBQ at the end of the day with plenty of light. It’s a very unique look at night, and during the day you would not know it was there.
