My 89 year old father and I spent 10 hours taking the carpet from the cab of my 97 Vectra gasser. Then we had the adventure of sanding off the goo remaining on the floor. Cleaning the mess. Cutting two sets of templates...dont ask. Recuting the new carpet. Applying glue that got all over the place. Installing the carpet that by some miracle actually fit and looked good. What a day! I was more worn out than Dad and I am only 51. I discovered he was a lot smarter than I realized.
