Replaced both 6 year old Interstate U2200's with 2 Interstate's from Costco $73.99 + tax X 2= $159.52. One half the price of 2 new U2200's. The warrany is 12 months vs 6 months on the U2200's. We'll have to wait and see if this was a good decision.
Also had to replace the lug ends on both positive cables to the batteries (my poor maintenance practice on the batts). You can get lug ends for the small cable but not the larger cable. Found a gentleman in Chandler AZ that makes the kug ends and can make full cables if necessary (Russ Thornton 602-697-6446).
Will start installing a prodigy brake controller this afternoon.
