used a few cans of expanding foam and 3 cans of undercoating to try and quiet down the cab area. Not sure if it will do any good until I take it out the next few weeks.
Also relocated the tall exit assist handle inside the rv to the left side of the door instead of the right. This allowed me to install hinges on the step well cover I made and secure it out of the way by flipping it up. The handle on the cover engages with one of those automatic gate latches which is mounted on the side of the cabinet by the door.
The first time we used the cover it was quite a pain in the ass to move it every time somebody came in or went out.
The cover is to prevent our one year old foster baby from falling down the stairs and hurting himself. It also gives a little more floor space visually and in a somewhat practical manner.
Recovered the last two vertical things that go along side the windows and up into the valences. Not sure what those are called.
