Today I installed a brake system vacuum pump from NSA on our RAV4 toad to eliminate the "dead pedal" effect when towing. I had previously tested our ReadyBrake system both with and without a dead pedal, and determined that the "live pedal" was noticeably more effective. As anyone that's owned one knows, the older F-53 chassis brakes need all the help they can get. :)
