Replaced front passenger brake hose today. Weather permitting I'll replace the driver's side hose tomorrow and bleed/flush the system.

Funny Story: Follow up to my "Low Coolant" light sensor repair.

I was working on the surge tank for the coolant. I found a sensor with 3 wires on 1 terminal and 1 on the other. Called Spartan Chassis and ordered a new one. It came yesterday. It had a different plug-in connector. Contacted Spartan again (they are very nice to work with) after a lot of searching for the orginal diagrams of my coach and head scracthing about why there would be 3 wires, they made me up a pig tail connector because it appeared my wiring had changed from the orginal by the previous owner.

I made some jumper wires to test the new sensor while I was waiting for the wiring harness to be shipped. No joy, the light stayed on and I thought, "this isn't good, it's not the sensor, I must have a problem with the wiring." When your coach is 40 ft long it is no easy task to trace down wiring connections.

Then I decided to call the previous owner (should have done this first)- he said that he remembers there was a plug in the tank - he had put this sensor in. It was for an extra fan he installed to keep the engine cool. I said, "Oh! (light bulb comes on .) I am working on the wrong sensor!" Went back to the coach and looked. Sure enough, hidden behind a divider bar on the right side of the same tank was the correct sensor. Had I not called him I would have been off tracking down a wiring connection problem thatn didn't exist. He saved me a ton of work and frustration!

Moral: It is very easy to get off on a tangent when working on these things. I am glad I can laugh about it later. The day I can't will be the day I sell the MH!

Not today but this week, finished building new bed frame. Coach originally came with full size bed but was converted to two bunks. I switched it back. Also adjusted the auto brake, functioning but wasn't holding on an incline.

Just about finished interior LED lighting upgrade, just didn't order enough and unexpected different base in two fixtures. DW happy with all EXCEPT at bathroom mirror. Put old bulbs back in and now she is happy. Cost of project just a little under $5 per bulb. Done mostly to help a'cond.

order new "Low Coolant Light" sensor. Light is staying on for a few miles when I start out, even though surge tank and over flow is full.

Learned where to unhook the ice maker line for winterizing.

Put in a fan to move heat from my tank area outside the wall in my water bay where I have exposed pipes and the mancerator pump.

Good choice on the hard wood flooring. Much more durable than a carpet and wont look as dirty through heavy use.

Well, to start with, I decided to replace the valve stem seals on my 1990 Fleetwood Limited with the Ford 460 engine as it was starting to pull oil past the guides during decelleration. What a job, as I decided to do the seals in place, not removing the cylinder heads. It took me 3 days but I perseveered and am glad I did. I took it for a 200 mile sping, didn't use a drop of oil, nor should it with only 42,000 original miles on it. The valve stem seals had hardened and stopped sealing due to old age. So, feeling pretty good about that, I decided it was time to level the rig up so I went about replacing some suspension parts, springs and shocks, and now it sits nice and level and I hope to take it to Quartzsite in January.

I wish....still getting ready for the Vegas trip this week.Cut my new leveling blocks, found several places that needed re-sealing,cut the curb-side gutter behind the front door awning so the rain runs out there instead of over the door.Today is checking the tires, fluid levels, putting more food in it and then, tomorrow is off to the Cat shop in Tacoma to get the 'puter re-flashed and re-calibrated for the larger tires.
