Please don't haul firewood around! It is illegal in many states now and has moved several pests into new territory causing devastation to forests. Note fires out west burning Pine forests that have been killed by Pine bark beetles and the spread of ash beetles.

My husband had to have an X-hose for the motorhome. I told him the hose has bad ratings. Well, after 3 months it blew up, LOL.

I drove 1012 km highway driving (there and back) and approximately 10 hours and this cost me $508.00 in total. I hope that is "average" but is sure a shocker..LOL
My windshield rubber hose for washer fluid, that I had repaired 2x now is detached again (on the way there in rain)..
I was also running both my AC units and the generator didn't power it and blew the fuse at the electric panel I was plugged into... so guess I will have that serviced... Where to get it serviced is the question... nearest Onan place is 3 hours away and not sure I trust a normal mechanic to do it .. or would they be qualified and know what to do ?
I hate not having a mechanical background. It is a brand new Cummins Onan QG 7000 Gasoline RV Generator. I really didn't expect any problems. I had a normal Mechanic install it last year as he said was a "no brainer".. perhaps he didn't do it correctly ... I did check the oil and it is dark so I will get that changed out...though only under 1 year of age and barely used (exercised monthly) gets super hot fast and smell of gas when I open the hatch.
It did power the rear AC for the 5 hour drive though which was my worry as dogs get hot in the rear.
So I ran on the provided hydro running only the one AC unit which was fine until the one night I woke up and it was only luke warm air coming out of the rear AC and not much air flow... geesh...
Then my one friend told me that the night was cool and my AC unit had probably frozen up (??)
so I turned it on the following day and it was working fine again..hmm guess she was right. phew $$
I paid to have my black tank flushed out (Kalmazoo Expo Center subcontracted out) and they say they did but
on day 4 my toilet backed up when flushed... course then it was too gross to take a hose nozzle and shove down there as someone suggested..(no gloves)
I stopped at a dumping station on site on my way out and more******came out...but toilet still not working.
I got home and I took my Camco Holding Tank Rinser with shut off and shoved that down there and it immediately released what ever clog was there...
Needless to say that this little $7.00 item now has a permanent place on my RV !!!
I wonder if I will have to give up my 2 ply toilet paper ???
I ended up googling this and see that the black water tank is just that... a
basic hole that it just piles up in like a Porta Potty ?? HUH... guess I was expecting a more sophisticated design...LOL
Course my adventures do not end there...
I had been practicing putting out my "new" awning (manual) all week so I could do this at the show.
Well when the winds came up (a tornado came through..we survived but rocked the night away) I knew to get that awning in fast...but the release lever was sticky so concentrating on pushing that back.. it released and BAM my awning zipped up closed all on its own... along with my black pull tab !!! well shoot..
Thankfully the following day a fellow camper came over and pushed out the awning roll while my friend and I pulled on the arms and I got it extended to grab the black tab thing that I should have had control of with that skinny black rod.. Seriously who designs this stuff ?
So i"m considering lengthening the control tab thing, so that a shorty like me won't need to use that rod thing fishing to catch it in that loop... I wonder if anyone has done this ?
Glad to hear that you had a good time. :B

Dumped the tanks. $5 at Cabela's. That was cheaper than going in to buy something so as to dump free!
Filled the gas tank. OUCH! $109.00 at Town Pump (30.5 gallons).
Friday, load up and head for Roundup for the ARRL Amateur Radio Field Day with the Musselshell Amateur Radio Club.

Is it store bought or did you make it yourself and how is it mounted.
I added 2x2 receivers to each of the hitch mounts and just plugged in 2x2 square tube for the size of porch needed
topped that with perpendicular 1x1 square tube to support the ply wood
this is the third RV I have implemented the same design, first one was in 1992
