When I waxed my rv I used an orbital polisher from Harbor Freight tools. It came out looking great with no swirl marks.

Still waxing, this thing seems to be a lot bigger than it was last year. Two more trips to the storage building and it "should" be completed. After that, maybe a shoulder X-ray.

Well how about I tell you the things I've done over the last two weeks. I removed the front TV sometime ago and finally got around to installing a flatscreen it it's place. Love the new FC. Got the quadrajet rebuilt and reinstalled, tuned and smogged for registration, installed new carpet runners, installed Camco vent cover, sanitized the FW tank, removed all the stuff the DW had been storing from her sewing room while we has guests sleeping there, washed the linins and made the bed prior to taking off Tuesday, washed the MoHo inside and out, cut out some plywood to fill in the space where the bdrm TV is in order to put in flatscreen. Bought a neat little reading light for over the passenger side seat and have it mounted on a piece of door skin ready to install, rewired the HVAC panel with new fastons that grip tightly and installed a new bezel I made for the HVAC panel and found out it's too thick and must be redone. Leaving for PNW Tuesday and cleaned up bedroom for DD to use while we're gone. Going out to look for a new camera today after seeing the Dr. So much fun.

Replaced the midcoach reflectors with LED turn signal blinkers. Easy job (3 hrs) and what a great look! Also a better indicator while changing lanes then the blinkers on my side mirrors.

Replaced the bedroom A/C, and got the dash A/C repaired, and new spark plugs and wires. Runs so much smoother...

Put in stainless camping cookware, so we can keep the Cuisinart stainless in the house. Cuts down on weight and gives us more storage space, too -- not that we've ever filled L'Andante up, even when we were living in her.

Plugged her into her own brand new RV 20/30/50 outlet, too.

I installed Sumo Springs on the front of my 2001 Bounder about two weeks ago. We then went on a 500 mile evaluation trip to see if the installation made any improvement on the handling and ride. I am happy to say that our coach handled much better and rode softer, we hardly noticed being passed by semis, busses etc. and vice versa. The prices on these units have come down considerably for older coaches and I now consider them reasonable for purchasing and installing.

Wired in a toggle switch and relay so I can turn off the activation of my trailer brake controller when using the engine compression brake. Also changed a burnt out light bulb in my transmission temperature gauge.

Just finished waxing the rv. Took me 9 hours to do the whole thing. Its 35 feet. I have the time so elected to do it myself. Was at Lazy Days camping and the day we were leaving a man showed up and they had a sale of $5.00 a foot. AT the time we had to get back home so I was unable to let him do the work.

LOL too funny as I was thinking the same thing reading all of these posts that people are washing and waxing.

Well a fellow at work is a car detailer (hobby job he is VERY good at) and I asked him how much to come to my home (his house doesn't have enough room) and he said $350.00-$450 to wash and wax the entire RV... just depends on how much time he has to spend.

I was at first shocked but after reading the hours that people spend on it... well... maybe not so bad. Maybe I can get him to seal the roof with a treatment I read on here people are doing as well, might be a good idea too...

Well off to the RV place to see how much to fix my leaky slide out roof... sigh

I've been watching this thread for quite awhile, but until now we have been in the research mode, but today we sent out the spec sheet to 4 dealers to get a quote on the new coach we want to get ordered.

A week ago, I added an Extend-A-Stay connection to the propane system. Today, I added two Costco LED strips. One above the woefully lit stove, and the other above the entryway for those late night dry camping entries!
