I filled the coach up with diesel and propane for my trip Sunday to Scottsdale, Arizona for a few days. Just got back from Northern California and I saw many coaches on highway 58 and I-5 headed south. Several hundred I would say. So it must be time for the snowbirds to fly south to warmer climate.

Took it to a shop here in Elkhart and had the front end aligned, upper a arm bushings and shocks replaced. I knew I should have replaced the shocks before we left California but the other I didn't know was needed.

Finally got in the last caliper and replaced it. Bled the brakes and found out I also need a brake line on the passenger side. Unbolted the passenger seat up front so I can check/repair any damage to the wall next to it from the crappy window work that had been done up there. Sanded the second layer of spackle. Things moving slow but everything will be nice when completed.

Cleaned up the remaining lumberjacking situation; prep for Turfston RV driveway to be installed week after next. My site is ready for the crew

Researched solar controllers, learned the benefit of MPPT on blue sky's site. what a beautiful selection they have, such a wide range. It is not evident till you drill down on the details. I decided to change my plan to a 2512iX with a 210 watt 18.3v and a 125 watt 18.4 volt pairing that should mppt output 23.7 amps which is sized nicely for a 25 amp controller. The two panels and the controller are $801, a nice compromise in price for a ton of performance. I also came up with a new metric; total aH replaced during the typical 5 hour solar day. That helped me decide. For example, this array provides 119 aH charging per day.

Have not heard back from Bridgeway regarding my service which expanded to include a brake caliper check as the brakes seem to drag at take off every time (sounds like the brake pedal is depressed as you take off from a stop)

Packed up for our last trip of the year starting tomorrow morning to celebrate our 42 on the eleventh. On the 15th I will take it over to get the water tank bracket re-welded. Only 5 of 6 holding it now. License plate expires on the 16th so she starts her long winter hibernation in the barn. Can't wait until spring when I can go back to using it again. Four more years before I can consider retirement and head south for a few month each year. For now I can only use the MH no more than three or four times each year.

Today was the annual separation anxiety day, we put the rig in the cave for winter storage. Usually we take it to the cave the first week of November, but I have a hip replacement surgery coming up the end of this month.

We got everything cleaned up and ready to go to Branson. Put down some new step covers. We had never put any down since we bought our 2011 Forest River Georgetown in February. We finally pulled up the plastic protector cover on the carpet. I have to hang a mirror on the wall.

Found a bullet with threads looking thing by my enclosed trailer cable. Turns out it was the center pin and the long nut inside the connector was bouncing around where it could short out.

Spent $3450 for 10 tires, mounted and balanced. Add ~$425 to that for a TST TPMS. I think they are going to give me 15% off for trading in my Hella TC-400 TPMS.

I sanded the spackle I had put up yesterday, and then I put another layer of spackle over parts that still needed it.

The thread has gone quiet, first time I can remember since it started.

Today I took the connector cable for my tow'd into my workshop to look for a short or a break in a connector. Found it right off the bat. Even opened up the end where the break in the cable was first try (50/50 chance). Now I just need to wait until I get the coach and tow'd together to make sure I got it. Continuity test good!

Thinking about it. After being out for nine months it is really hard to believe it has been in the shop and in storage for over 30 days. Only 48 days to go! then I can winterize by driving south!
