Isn't it great that AGM's don't have to be vented? Also they don't have to be upright. They can lay on their sides or on edge. I don't have enough space below the furnace and refrigerator or I would have tried to connect them on their sides there.
They add about 132 lbs to the rear axle, but I weighed the rig fully loaded (except for passengers) and it had 400 lbs available on the rear. Luckily the water tank is opposite so that there is some balance too.
I gave up and took the RV into the shop today to have the genny fixed. It was showing a code 14 error. They replaced the carburetor and blamed varnished gas. There was hard amber colored stuff caked on it. Seems to run well with a new carburetor though. Blamed the ethanol in today's fuel and recommended Stabil with Ethanol Enhancement to combat the culprit. Always good to have something fixed and not broken--especially before a big trip!
