A bit shorter season in the mountains from the sounds of it. Here in the lowlands some winters it may just touch freezing, such as in an El-Nino year. Not this year, de-winterized and re-winterized twice for trips.
Some times I wish we had that type of weather. But we enjoy being here so much I decide the extra work of doing things like this are worth it.
We may have freezing as late as June and as early as Oct. We got this motorhome in mid Sept and I put antifreeze in because I was not sure I could just blow it out and do a good job. So this is the first time I have blown the lines ect. But need to know as we have so much good weather in Spring and Fall. And only need to travel a few miles for it to be much warmer.
Tonight will be in the 20's so when we fill the tank and go on our trip next weekend we will know if I have it worked out. I blew the water lines out on our Airstream trailer for 20 years and did fine with it.
We lived on our sail boats for 10 years. My first time to have water lines freeze was when we got caught on Lake Michigan in early fall. From that time on I have always tryed to have a quick plan and and long term plan.
