We love the vent covers for the same reasons plus when traveling in the heat or cold. Like going to see family south west of Fresno in mid summer we open the rear vent a little and crank the cab AC up. It sucks the cool air thru the complete motorhome. Keeps all of our motorhome cool even in the Valley heat. It works the same with the heater. Leave it closed and the cab AC and heater, heat and cool only the cab area. We enjoy the even heat and cool.
