what OBD scanner are RV`Rs using

I will recommend the scan gauge for him
I know he doesn't want to go the pc route with silver leaf
And his Serrano really doesn't have an easy use mounting spot, for driver use with a notebook or pc.And he doesn't want that..Already been suggested and turned down

I picked up a netbook (small laptop), an Aspire One, used.... and I use the silverleaf program.....Excellent info & data about what is actually being seen by your engine's computer... real time, real info, real accurate.......

I like the ScanGuage just because it has it's own small screen. I really don't want a small laptop sitting up front. First of I don't own one and second I have no were to put it in the driving area.

Nah they are there, you most likely just havent found them yet ;)

Sometimes there is a cover over the port, check (usually) lower left of the steering wheel.

Your 95 Safari should have a J1708 6 pin diag tap under the dash near the steering wheel and a second one in the engine service bay.





You can get a ScanGuage D to plug into these.

I concur on the Silverleaf...best available technology without questions. Call them and ask what it would take to do the interface.
