If they were to at least offer to price match GS, I might consider them at renewal time. Otherwise, I don't see them as being competitive at that price point.
Read my post above I called them - this discussion is out of hand - I welcome others to call them and confirm my facts
no it's not out of hand!
I wrote them asking how they can charge twice the price of GS and they came back with a very long diatribe about how they are so much better than the competition, and how wonderful this one additional service is that you get with the Premiere package that GS charges extra for.. Well the only package offered IS the Premiere package, and this additional service if bought through GS still doesn't come anywhere close to the one and only price of Coach Net. So... splain' that
They didn't mention at all that this is a 1st year signup fee and additional years are the price you claim, so one HAS to assume this is the new rate and they have gone to a two tier: new vs. old subscriber model. Even IF you are correct, In ANY other service, companies offer DISCOUNTS to come on board and try out their service, that's how it's done. CoachNet instead has doubled their rates from the nearest competition, and there are now several. I'm at a loss how this model can possibly work out for them, but I'm sure not going to test drive them at these new rates. This is after all nothing but insurance. I'd love to hear anyone here fess up to paying twice the rate for essentially the same package because they simply claim they're better.
One thing you can be sure of is if GSRA had any significant problems that the people on this forum would complain loud and clear. Over ten years I have heard very very few complaints on either service, and it's not GS, it's their contracted tow services, probably the same ones CN uses too.
