Ok here is the three that we might look at.
2000 Bounder 39z
2000 Dutch Star 3865
2004 Fleetwood Expedition 39
All units are priced the same and miles are under 50K.
Anything I should know before we look at them?
Thanks again
Here is something for you to try. Go to eBay...motors...rv's and campers.....motorized....class A's.....enter your price range.
I put in 35K to 40K and it came up with 20 units, with the newest being 2007.
Then you go to the left side of the page, and click on "completed listings" to see what actually sold, and for how much. For 35K I found that a 2005 Georgie Boy 38 ft coach with three slides SOLD(
2005 GB) and a 38 ft 2005 Winnebago 38J with three slides actually SOLD(
2005 Winn).
The point is there is a huge difference between asking and selling price. I think if you shop around you can find newer units in your price range, with low mileage, and with a floor plan you like.
There was even a 2000 DutchStar 3865 that got no nibbles at $35,000.
A 2003 Fleetwood Bounder, with 27,000 miles and no one bought it at $35,900.
Good luck in your search and as the eBay completed listings indicate, it is a buyers market and not too many RV's are selling unless the price is low.
