I didn't understand your question part 2. I wondered if "esoteric" referred to a piece of motorhome hardware (as in: does your rig have the 12volt esoteric?) or is it just another snarky rv.net comment/question... so I looked up the word:

So now I know what the heck "esoteric" means, the answer to your question is no.
