Hi I have a 2007 Newmar Canyon Star, and am very happy with it. I m looking to do some upgrading- want a wifi antenna so I can pull in weaker signals at campgrounds, and want to update to new flat screen tv's. On Vancouver Island for another week then over to Bellingham Washington. Any good places to get this work done?

Any B-Ham RV Dealer should be able to give you references to get your needs taken care of.

You might want to take a look at the following as a possible solution

I used to buy these for ...........$36. No need to mount outside.

Upgrading the TV's is a carpentry/cabinetry job for the most part.. See a good cabinet maker

As for the Wi-Fi.. Wi-Fi Ranger is one of the most popular devices, the full system consists of a Router that goes INSIDE your RV, and a "Modem" (Wi-Fi adapter) that goes outside the RV.. You can also do some tricks to increase the "Gain" of the antenna part if you like.. (View early episodes of Amaturlogic.tv for some idea including a Grape Juice can or Coffee can, and a re-purposed Sat TV dish) These improvements are optional and require NO electronics knowledge. Oh, early episodes #3 specifically, and one later, not sure if it's 4,5 or 6
