Wind push P-32; Sumo Springs or Super Springs?
I've installed new Bilsteins, Trac Bar, SS bell cranks and arms, Roadmaster Reflex steering stabilizer, SS front springs, Timbren front stabilizers, and polyurethane bushings on front and rear sway bars and alignment to Henderson recommendations.. With the exception of the new bushings, the rear is stock.
I'm getting a SEVERE wind push from passing traffic. It seems to be worse at lower speeds (60) than (65-70). Of course that could be because I'm getting passed less and the speed differential is less when I am passed.
When driving with no traffic, the setup is perfect, but the wind from passing vehicles destabilize the rear making the rig hard to handle.
It looks like I have 2 options to stiffen up the rear; Sumo Springs and Super Springs helper springs. It looks like helwig makes a helper spring that is roughly equivalent to the Super Spring helper springs. I can't find an upgraded sway bar.
Does anyone have any experience with this issue on a short wheelbase P-32? I'm in the Tampa area for the holidays and would like to get the device installed for the return trip.
