Window shades?

It's time to change our shades. The shades we have is the orginal ones from 2008, what is the best choice to replace them with?
  • I went with blinds so I can open the windows and get some air flow in the RV can't do that with shades.
  • I am partial to Day and night shades.

  • I like the mini blinds; approx 1 inch wide. They can be washed (although with difficulty). Ours are the original.
  • Day/night roller shades work the best. Easy to clean, not noisy when you travel and actually help quite the inside when the noght shades are down. The can be purchased almost anywhere window coverings are sold and are not very expensive.
  • I replaced several with the originals. https://ascotent.com/
  • We replaced ours with MCD shades back in 2013. We consider them one of the best things we have added to our motorhome.
  • I replaced mine(day night) one at a time from Ebay when the price was right. Matched color per room/slide and if they where an inch or two narrow, I shimmed the sides of the valance by adding a small block of wood.i,e, 56"x35" about $65 each new with shipping
