Wiring for 2 speed Fan

Hello, my motorhome has two fans, 1 facing driver and 1 facing passenger. They connect to 1 switch which has two speeds. The wiring from the switch has 2 yellow wires and 1 white wire going to each fan. The fans have a yellow, green, and black wire. The yellow and green are marked with a + sign.

I had it hooked up and working, but tried the switch again and this time they would do nothing. I had the white connecting to the black on the fan and the green and yellow both connecting to yellow from switch.

What am i doing wrong and did i blow the fans or a fuse maybe?
