There are at least three different links in the post. I don't think anything was changed to the original one - just later added information as it was found out. They're from different sources: Quad-City Times, TV6; TV8.
I don't think any of the posters here would do any better with reporting after reading these speculated comments:
"driver passed out, too old, too young, passed out, too fast (yeh, at the pump?), heart attack, stroke"
"reporter fresh out of college English major, no mention of the RV driver (it did say he was taken to the hospital, human interest story (the 1st article accurately gave every single detail before later information could be had), minimum wage feeder to the big leagues, needs to return to school, I haven't yet seen any pedestrians that weren't in a RV (Really? At a service station?)"
What good does all this speculation really do? You're just writing your own stories.
