How difficult would it be to upgrade a 2006 Fleetwood Bounder 38S floor from carpet to wood? What would it cost a pro to do?

I wouldn't use laminate because it does not do well with water. I would use vinyl planking. DIY with utility knife and you are set. Super easy and very durable.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

Why not vinyl plank? Waterproof so no worry about seams getting wet, hard as heck to scratch and costs the same.

Installing Pergo is pretty easy.

I'd also suggest taking a look at Allure floating floor. We recently did a bathroom with it and I like it a lot. So fast, simple, and easy to install too.
There are 24 hours in every day - it all depends on how you choose to use them.

A hydraulic jack solenoid on my HWH Leveling System recently cost me $115.00. My solenoids are easy to access under my hood. You can order them online or purchase from most RV dealerships.
Fairly easy to replace.
Good luck!

removing the tile was the hardest part of mine. Outside of that its not that bad.. Did it over a week in the afternoons.. Have less than $500 in it. If you dont have much tile it would be bad at all.

When I bought mine someone had replaced the floors, laminate in the bath and hallway, new carpet in the front and bedroom. Doesn't look difficult but, well worth the effort. It really looks good and is easy to get that beach sand cleaned up.

I did my own for the price of Pergo..(don't remember how much) I left the carpet in the bedroom and the slide since they are not high traffic areas. Removed the sofa (easy job) and seat belts (reinstalled later) butted the Pergo up against the metal strip at the edge of the slide. Relatively easy job. Why they put carpet at the entry way is beyond me.

LAMINATE FLOOR POSTS

I don't know how difficult it would be or the cost to have it installed.

I think it's a good idea. We don't really like the carpeting.
