  • Any time I make a pot of chili, Polish sausage and cabbage, or crockpot a roast, most of the liquid is dark beer. Guinness Black Lager and Yuengling Black and Tan are two of my favorites.

    My rule is always: One for the pot and two for the cook.

  • Bake while drinking beer, fry while drinking beer, roast while drinking beer... there's 3 ways to cook with beer right there. ;)

    But seriously, new recipes can be fun to try.
  • Beer and wine add a lot of flavor. They help tenderize things like tough cuts ofr meat. The carbonation in beer lightens up things like pancake batter by adding CO2.
