4 Ingredient Pizza Bake

Another variation that's pretty easy is Pizza Bubbles casserole - or Bubble Up pizza, which I think was a Weight Watcher's version of the recipe (lower fat ingredients.) Recipes available by googling.

It involves using canned biscuits cut into fourths (I get the cheap store label), sauce (I just use spaghetti sauce in a jar), shredded mozzarella and whatever other toppings you like. I sometimes brown and drain ground beef and add some chopped green pepper and onions to the sauce. Also good with pepperoni.

To jazz it up a little, I add a heaping teaspoon of jar pesto to the sauce, a few grindings of Italian seasoning, and sprinkle red pepper flakes on top.

Three - Ingredient Pizza about 200 calories per serving (1/2 the pie). Place one la Banderita Burrito Grande in a large frying pan set to medium heat. Spread 3 TBSP of any pizza sauce around the tortilla, and top with 1/2 shredded mozzarella cheese. Heat for five minutes or until the cheese is melted. MyFitnessPal records this recipe at 392 calories for the whole pie. Add pre-cooked pepperoni for about 10-15 calories per slice depending on the brand.

Here's another easy and quick pizza.

Tortilla Pizza

Flour tortillas or whole grain ( works great with pita bread )
cheese : mozzarella , cheddar , goat , feta
Pizza sauce
tomato slices or chopped
sliced or chopped onions
oregano
olive oil
parsley chopped
pepperoni slices or sausage crumbles

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Spread sauce evenly across the tortilla, leaving 1/2 inch around the edges. Sprinkle with cheese and toppings.

Bake for 12-14 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbling (no sooner!) and the edges of the tortilla are lightly browned. Slice and serve.

Bet those first 2 version would go over well with kiddos learning to cook w/o parents around. They seem to live to eat:).

Thought that version of my life was over but my DGD ate at a friend's home and now we HAVE to make pizza rolls. Actually she'd be perfectly happy with the variety in the frozen food aisle but I told her we'd make some over the weekend.

NCWriter, you can also use naan for personal pizza; nice and sturdy.

Magnus, did you use the full dough recipe or 1/2 as many of the reviewers preferred?

That looks like the recipe they used to make on Friday Pizza day in Elementary school in '60s. I actually had the school cook write it out for me when I was in 6th grade, it was so good.

You must have gone to a good school. My school pizza had way too many identifiable leftovers that had no business being on a pizza.

Herself says she used the recipe as is. Whatever, it was good enough to satiate the lunch hunger.

I sometimes see Red Baron Pepperoni pizza on sale 3 for $10.00 or some store brands even cheaper. Toppings are a bit sparse but it doesn't take much to chop some onions, peppers, olives, etc. When I fry burgers or sausage I make extra and freeze small portions. I thaw it and crumble on top. I naturally add cheese, we like American, and bake it in the toaster oven. No rolling out dough or clean-up. For $3.33 and some stuff from the fridge we have a thick custom made pizza..
I have two in the freezer..... Maybe that sounds like supper tonight... :)

Sounds good. Though in the boonies of Eastern NC, I can't recall seeing any in the grocery stores.
