Blackstone 22" griddle review

WOW!!!! Haven't really used it camping yet, just on the back porch. Will use it this weekend when we go camping. HSN is the only place you can buy the 22". I paid $199 minus 15%. If you open an account they send you a coupon code for the 15%. I bought it 2 weeks ago, they were/are on sale now for $149. So I called and got a price adjustment. It ended up being about $127 with the 15% off.

With that said it is awesome to cook with. And I think it is going to be real easy to transport. My brother has a 36" he takes in his Class C. After he found out about my 22" he bought one, said he would use the 36 just at home.

Have cooked omlets for breakfast once. And twice have cooked pork burger and veggies (green, red peppers, onions, mushrooms and zuccini). It was all good. Only down side is I can see the wife will be having me do all the cooking from now on!!!
  • I i've had one for six months and it's really outstanding. Set up a propane feed off my tank instead of using the little green bottles.

After about 15 or 20 times it really seasons up nicelyI'd recommend a small spray bottle to keep nearby when you're done cooking. Mist the grill scrape it down and clean it it's much easier than pouring water from a bottle because it's too excessive.

Now for the ouch part… I only paid $79 on Amazon .
  • We are planning on buying the 22", we have the largest one they build and love it. I had a guy build a set of folding stainless steel (3 sides) splatter screens, helps great when cooking bacon, sausage, frying chicken fried steaks, etc. But it make the cook hot, reflects heat back to the cook.
