Halloween dinner item

I found this little gem online. It would make a nice Halloween main course. There is no recipe for it other than make your favorite meatloaf and use slices of onions for ankles and onions for toenails with a little ketchup for "blood".

Come back and post all your pictures of the food and costumes. That meat head is sick! LOL

Me too!

We're doin' the whole nine yards this year...dark house when the Grandkids get here, jumpin on them from the bushes, blindfolds followed by the old stick-yer-hand-in the bag to feel "eyeballs and guts" (grapes and spaghetti)- the works!

And now we have a menu to match in case they have any appetite left. :B

I love making a "Meat Head". Cover a foam skull with plastic wrap. Color some cream cheese red/pink and spread over skull. Add thinly sliced prosciutto and/or sliced ham (prosciutto looks most skin-like). Use tooth picks to add green olive (w/pimento) "eyes". Serve in the center of a large platter with crackers.

Don't know how to post a pic, but google search if you've never seen one.

Now THAT is down right even grosser!!

Meat loaf feet are TOO funny and also a bit creepy with those nasty looking toe nails! :B

Here's an idea for desert:
Some one posted this last year for a Christmas desert.
I made them for around the Campfire and the kids and adults thought they were a riot!

Just replace the green holly stuff and black Oreo cookie with the orange Oreo's and a piece of candy corn candy.

MICE COOKIES

1/2 Oreo cookie
1 chocolate covered cherry with stem
1 Hershey's kiss
2 almond slivers
White writing gel and food coloring

Another great idea- my Grandkids love deviled eggs and those Spider Eggs will go real well with the Body Part meat loaf.

Thanks!

Those feet are a good one...creepy.

I used to make deviled eggs and used black olives to make spider legs, cut the olive up in skinny slices for legs and make them stand up on the egg.

Not as scarey,, but I used to like to make these for the kids,,,"Redneck Turtle burgers"
Bacon wrapped burger/sausage, with hot dog tips for the head and feet,, cut little slits for the toes, and a SBT for the tail!! takes a little work,, but the laughs are worth it!

That's great. The kids should get a "kick" out of that!
