Real smoked BBQ can be a lot of work if you enjoy that, as I do. I've got a large wood-burning smoker and I love to fire it up at every opportunity. This past weekend I did a 16 hour overnight brisket cook for a neighborhood gathering.
But, there is another way! My buddy received one of these as a gift from his employer: Green Mountain Davy Crocket It is, dare I say it - idiot proof. Fill the hopper with wood pellets, set the temp, insert meat and come back when it's done. Oh, did I mention it is WiFi enabled and will communicate with your smart-phone?
It weighs just under 60 lbs and with the legs folded, it will fit in a storage bay. I will own one for traveling in the motorhome.
